Power in a song...............

As my baby boy slept in the car this morning, I had the opportunity to listen to a very powerful song.  The type of musical message that comes but rarely.....

Take a look and have a listen.

On this day, in this year of 2013, isn't it time that we stop being ignorant?  Isn't it time we quit judging? Isn't it time we focus on and celebrate what is good in this world?

In a world where we are confronted by horrendous news of.....
* murder
* robbery
* rape
* deceit
* war
* assault
* terrorism
* sexual abuse
* abduction
* neglect....

In this world, on this day, in this year of 2013.... Isn't it time we accept good people for who they are?  Isn't it time we support freedom of choice? Isn't it time for EQUALITY?
Isn't it time we, as humans walking life with other humans, simply.  allow.  happiness....?

Enough Discrimination.

Its 2013, Its Time.

  3. I love this song,also heard it yesterday,and it is so soul rendering.I think that people lack courage to except what is different,and what is sometimes the unknown,but they then do more harm then good.I want my children to have grace,to have courage to be excepting of all people,and to always be kinder to others then the very worst person ever can be to them.That is how we can do out bit for the future our families will be live in.xx

  4. Love this song...

    Whenever I hear someone use the word 'gay' in a negative context? My response is: "puh-lease, get a dictionary and look up that word, you so freely used, in that stupid sentence, you just wasted my time with {tisk}

    Being a dancer for the majority of my childhood, then professionally well into my late teens, I was already in the company of gay and lesbians. I was never affected by them and they are some of my closest and longest friendships I've had. They love just like you and me and in all honesty, their relationships are so special I am grateful I have been privy to them. I've learnt some real values to relationships, thanks to the ones they've had.

    Great Song.

  5. I just listened to this song with my 19 year old son. We both agreed it was brilliant. He doesn't even question the issue of gay marriage. All my teenaged sons feel unequivically that all marriage should be legally possible, the only thing required is that you love each other. Maybe this generation of young people will continue the push to right this gross inequality. Thanks for the post xx
